Play a short scene. You choose what Mira does, the dice are rolled for real, and the diary shows what each turn changed. The branches are written ahead for this sample; at a real table you type anything and the game master improvises.

Turn 1

Game master The bell of the drowned chapel is ringing for dusk, as it has every evening for thirty years. But Father Aldric, who rang it, was buried on Tuesday. The rope in the porch hangs loose: something is pulling the bell from below, by a chain that goes down through the floor into the crypt. Nell, the ferryman's daughter, came in here at noon, and the river is already at the steps.

Campaigns

Each campaign is written before anyone plays it: a plot, a cast with secrets, and more than one way for it to end. The game master improvises everything in between.

A stone tower on a river at night, its lantern dark, and an inn lit on the far bank.

The ferry lantern has gone dark.

A first adventure

The Lantern at Hollow Ford

The innkeeper's son climbed the river tower to relight the lantern and never came back down. Fight what waits on the stair, or find out why it's there.

Improvised story, honest rules

A table for your friends
Play together in a group chat, or each at your own pace. Nobody has to prepare or run the game, and if someone can't make it, a companion character takes the empty seat and plays along.
The dice are real
Our engine runs the fifth-edition rules: attacks, checks, saves, spell slots and hit points. The game master tells the story, but it can't fudge a roll or forget a rule.
Your choices stick
The people you meet, the places you change and the promises you make are written down as you play, and they decide how the campaign ends. Come back in a month and the burned bridge is still burned.
